2010: A Time to Relate

According to vedic astrologer, Sam Geppi (Sadasiva), next week's winter solstice will be complimented by a prominent celestial event of a lunar eclipse, with the full moon of Gemini in Sagittarius lining up to the galactic center, an event that seems to sync with the ending of the Mayan Long Count and the precession of the Equinoxes.
Vedic astrology, which can be known for its often fatalistic predictions, have the warning bells ringing that this event could have cataclysmic proportions, as there are similarities in the planetary alignment to that of events like 9/11, hurricane Katrina, and the devastating tsunami in the Indian Ocean of 2004. But despite the similarities, not all of these events corresponded to a full moon, and unlike the approaching lunar eclipse, they did not have the Gemini-Sagittarius connection.
Like all events in time, this coming occurrence is but a moment, and its larger orb of influence has been and will be felt in the time leading up to this moment and the time after. According to Vedic Astrology, this event is special because the sun, Mercury, and Mars are all in the Nakshatra of Mula, with Mula meaning "root," as well as in Sagittarius, the wise mentor. Gemini, and its ruler Mercury, teach us how to connect and communicate. Together, Sagittarius and Gemini act as a great teacher and with the full moon represents the culmination of our inner forces--lining up with the outer projection of the sun. It's possible we will see a great amplification in regards to our personal and collective ideologies.
At the same time that these major astrological events are taking place, several other large players in the heavens including Jupiter and Venus are in their "ruling" houses. Though current astrological thought places Jupiter as being the ruler of Sagittarius, before the discoveries of Uranus, Pluto, and the like, Jupiter ruled Pisces, its current location in the sky, which correlates to the expansion of the luminous and mystical self to the subconscious and spiritual levels of existence. Venus, within Libra, correlates to a very strong sense of balance and relationships. Together these two planets present a great wisdom applied to relationships, how we act and react to others in our personal and social relationships, but also to the large collective, like our governments and environment.
Though Geppi is pointing out the importance of this single event, and its subtle correlation with major transformative events in our recent collective memory, the story being told by the stars currently isn't necessarily pointing towards disaster.
It's possible that the alignment correlates to our behavior as a collective being brought to awareness--an unveiling that results in us being able to see more clearly to the truth at the core, and also how to right certain ships (Venus and Libra are all about balance).
This particular alignment seems to be pointing to a time for us to rise and shine--on an individual level and radiating out into the collective. If you look at the Reality Sandwich, and Evolver community alone you can see this happening. Perhaps this special solstice is time to revitalize your relationship to yourself, and to the world.

Hot Drama..Astrologers/Astronomers are raving..
This hot drama in the sky during the lunar eclipse through the Solstice is a Galactic Center activation that will open multi-dimensional consciousness in all of Earth's elements.
This high-energy jolt will prepare many people for our entry into the Universal Underworld in March 2011.
Take note that the eclipse lines up with the Galactic Center; Mercury is exact on the Galactic Center during both the eclipse and solstice; and the lunar North Node and Pluto in Capricorn are still very close to the Galactic Center.

The Solstice on December 21, 2010 (exact @ 3:38PM, PST) brings a powerful alignment of a Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse....bringing the exact, 2-year Synchronization with the Closing of the Mayan Grand Cycle on December 21, 2012 which is heralded as the return to Zero; Completing this World Age, and the 5,125 year cycle of recorded History…http://galacticculture.wordpress.com/2010/12/12/dec-21-solstice-synchron...

This is one of the best researched insightful pieces I have read about the eclipse/solstice conjunction. I learnt quite a bit from this....especially the fact that a thirteen times twenty-eight count was included in the Dresden codex. Illuminating another amazing layer of the Maya calendrical system and providing a source of support for the thirteen moon calendar thesis. Great stuff!
